By on Fri, April 8, 2016

The selection comes as the city of San Antonio and VIA Metropolitan Transit continue to work in collaboration to expand and improve transportation options in the region.

The four-year project will focus on local communities’ efforts to build compact, mixed-use and equitable development around transit stations. Local officials said the initiative was designed to help cities such as San Antonio to better maximize their investment on transit infrastructure.
